What a wonderful hour I had with Lareese and Joe on Thursday evening, dancing through the golden strands of wispy grass, celebrating the blooming glow that an expectant mother in the third trimester possesses.

…yet here we were, the model and the photographer taking advantage of the dwindling light and pinky skies to get creative.

I’ve been dreaming up this concept for years and it was only once I’d found the perfect outfit, a sequinned Zara two piece, that it all started to come together.

In a previous life I worked for a fashion and home retailer, and loved nothing more than styling customers and merchandising the fashion floor and mannequins. Part of the joy in creating clients’ portraiture is styling the outfits to be worn.
